GVOZDENOVIĆ

Assistant Coach

Marko Gvozdenović, an assistant soccer coach at Cleveland SC, hails from Parma, Ohio, where he was born and raised. He joined the club's staff in 2022, alongside Head Coach Vlad Muresan. Before this, Gvozdenović and Muresan had already worked together at Hawken High School, where they directed the Varsity Boys program since 2019.


Apart from his work at Cleveland SC, Gvozdenović was the First Team Head Coach for four years and a current board member at SSK Karakjordje, a Serbian club that competes in the Northcoast and Lake Erie soccer leagues. Gvozdenović has been a longstanding member of the club, and as a youth was coached by Cleveland Crunch legends Nikola Ristic and Zoran Karić.


Gvozdenović is a graduate of Parma High School, where he played under Jamie Franco and current Cleveland State University Women's Head Coach Dallas Boyer. He continued his studies at Cleveland State University, where he earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education. Today, he is a high school teacher for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, where he works with students with special needs.
