Tonight’s clash between Cleveland SC and Michigan Rangers FC will mark their second meeting in just five days. In their previous encounter in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the Rangers managed to come from behind to secure a 2-1 victory against 10-man Cleveland SC. However, with the support of their dedicated fans, Head Coach Vlad Muresan and his team are determined to bounce back and claim a victory on home turf.
Tickets for the Home Opener are priced at $15, and children aged 11 and under can enjoy free entry, both online and at the gate. Michigan Rangers FC, a recently added expansion club in the NPSL, has had an impressive start to their inaugural season under the guidance of head coach and general manager Stuart Collins. The team currently has a record of 2 wins in 2 matches. In their opening fixture, they secured a 1-0 victory over Akron City FC, thanks to a goal from Daire O'Riordan. This was followed by a 2-1 victory over Cleveland SC this past Sunday, with goals from Chris Mendez and O'Riordan.
Cleveland SC, led by Head Coach Vlad Muresan, will have nineteen available for selection at George Finnie Stadium this evening. Unfortunately, Tom Beck will be absent from tonight’s match to a card suspension incurred during Sunday’s match against the Rangers. The team will be boosted by the return of Chris Cvecko, who is back in the squad after serving his two-match suspension.
Be sure to get your tickets and join us at George Finnie Stadium to cheer on the squad.
