Following a spectacular 3-0 victory over FC Columbus at George Finnie Stadium on Friday night, Cleveland SC is now geared up for the second encounter of the “CheeseBarn Derby” this weekend. The match is scheduled to commence this afternoon, June 18th, at 5:00 pm EST at Roberts Field, located at the Wellington School in Upper Arlington, Ohio.

Cleveland fans traveling to the game via Interstate 71 should make a quick stop at the renowned Grandpa’s Cheesebarn & Sweeties Chocolates in Ashland, Ohio. Treat yourself to some cheese and grab a delicious snack to accompany you to the match.

Our opponent

FC Columbus has shown better performances in their three home matches compared to their away games. They secured a victory against Erie Commodores FC on May 28th but suffered defeats against league leaders Steel City FC and Michigan Rangers FC. FC Columbus will miss Ayoub Ouhammou due to suspension for a red card after receiving a second yellow on Friday evening.

Club Notes

Under the leadership of Head Coach Vlad Muresan, Cleveland SC will have eighteen available for selection at Roberts Field in Upper Arlington. Friday’s victory provided a boost of confidence as Tom Beck, Chris Cvecko, and Emilio Spetic found the back of the net. Coach Muresan will hope the goal form carries over into today’s match, resulting in a six-point weekend for the club.
